Evangelism

"for 'WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.'
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?
And how will they hear without a preacher?"

	Evangelism is at the heart of all that New Hope does.  The ongoing evangelism efforts of this fellowship are fueled by the FAITH Evangelism strategy.  There are several ministry teams that are currently operating within this framework and the Lord is doing great things through the obedience of His people. In addition to this ongoing evangelism strategy, there are several different events throughout the year that give the opportunity to share Jesus in the community.
In December, New Hope presents a "drive-thru" Christmas drama consisting of 8 scenes that depict the life of Christ from birth to death to resurrection to ascension.  This is a tremendous outreach to the city that is very well-attended.
	In January, the Grand American Coon Hunt is hosted in Orangeburg, bringing people from all over the United States to the community.  This church is blessed with the opportunity to be an integral part of this event, providing many different ministries during the course of the weekend.
During the summer, Vacation Bible School draws children from all over the community to the campus of New Hope where they are ministered to and taught the Word of God.  Entire families are reached through this important ministry to children.
